OBITUARY
Thomas J. Tucker
January 9, 1932 – October 25, 2025
He was born January 9, 1932, in Victoria. He was a surveyor for most of his life. Member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He served his country as a Sargent in the Army in Korean War 1952 to 1954.
He is survived by daughters, Susan Pair (Tim) from Ganado, Barbara Stumfoll (Dennis) of Inez, Carol Mutz (Travis) of Corpus Christi and his sons, T. J. Tucker (Linda) of Victoria, David J. Tucker (Mary Ann) of Inez and James M. Tucker (Kim) of New Ulm. He has 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Betty Jo Schoener Tucker, his parents Walter E. Tucker and Della L. Martin Tucker, sisters Lilli Mae Scherer, Mary Alice Rutkowski, brothers Clifton Tucker and Dexter Tucker.
Funeral will be held Tuesday, November 4, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Victoria, Father Patrick Knippenberg presiding, with visitation beginning at 9:00, rosary at 9:30, and Mass beginning at 10:00. Entombment will be at Resurrection Mausoleum with full Military Honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council.
Pallbearers will be Mark Stumfoll, Kyle Pair, Shannon Pilat, Jon Carswell, Corbin Lauger, Mason Briscoe, Scotty Fimbel and Erick Vela.
