In addition to her parents, Rosetta was preceded in death by her spouse, Melvin Allen Shows, Sr.; son, David Gordon Williams, Jr.; brother, Donnie Triolo; favorite uncle, Pete Triolo; ex-spouse, David Gordon Williams, Sr.; sister-in-law, Patricia Haley.
Leaving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Rhonda Williams (Sam Moses) of Victoria, Texas, Sheila Shows Williams (Kevin) of Victoria, Texas; son, Melvin Allen Shows, Jr. (Stefanie) of Victoria, Texas; sister, Charlotte Triolo Garrett (J.W.) of Victoria, Texas; 8 grandchildren, Ashley Shows, Elisha Branson (Travis), Trevor Williams, David Williams (Samantha), Christian Shows (Erin Yielding), Kira Shows (Jhoedy Punch), Addison Terry, Alyssa; 5 great-grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.
Rosetta worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart and retired after 30 years. She accepted Christ into her life at an early age, and her faith never wavered from knowing who her God was. She loved playing bingo and Yahtzee and loved to travel the highway with her husband. She enjoyed going to the movies, dinner, dancing and watching her soap operas. She was a very selfless, loving and giving woman. She enjoyed watching her grandkids grow up and was proud of how they turned out. She was hard to warm up to, but once she fell in love with you, she was loyal. She loved going on vacation with her family. Above all, she was the best mother anyone could have. Her nurturing ways were unbeatable, and she paved the way and showed the women in her life how to be the best mother in the world.
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Riverside Oaks, but especially the nurses; Emily, Jerry, Mari, Selina, Michelle, Shelly, Robert, Mr. Brown, and anyone else we forgot over the years.
