Paul Padierna Obituary
Paul Padierna, 73, of Victoria, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Houston, Texas. He was born on June 30, 1952, in Victoria, Texas to the late Manuel Padierna and Praxjedes Padierna.
Paul dedicated a significant portion of his life to working as a bricklayer. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and a cherished friend. His passion for music was evident as he enjoyed playing the drums with his band, Bandolero. Known for his constant smile and laughter, he was always joking. He was an avid fan of the Houston Texans. With a heart of gold, he will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by many.
To cherish his memory, Paul is survived by his daughter, Cindy Padierna (Hector Duran); son, Paul Alfonzo Padierna Jr. (Monica); siblings, Virgina Rubio, Lichia Padierna, Abundio Padierna, Tony Joe Padierna, and Gilbert Padierna; 9 grandchildren; 11great grandchildren; and one great grandchild on the way; any many loving family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Natre Padierna and Juan Manuel Padierna.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a rosary to be prayed at 6:30 PM, at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Hwy., Victoria, Texas. A Funeral Service will be on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at Grace Funeral Home. Paul will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery.
Honoring Paul as pallbearers will be Paul Alfonzo Jr., Hector Duran Jr., Nicholas Alfonzo Padierna, Joanna Marie Elisondo, Adrian Elisondo, and Robert Charles Flores.
