Nancy Turner Bean passed peacefully from this world on March 28, 2026.  She is now in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  She was preceded in death by her parents Alice Turner and Calvin Turner of Port Neches, Texas; and her little sister, Terri Turner.  She is survived by her husband, Charles Robert "Bob" Bean, Jr.; her sister and brother-in-law, Jeannie and Mark Hopper; her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Jennifer Dalby; her step-daughter and husband, Tiffany and Brodie Woodward; grandkids Tyler Woodward and fiancé Nicholas Bregenzer, Cody Flores, Brooke Mullins and husband Jeff, Madison Champagne and husband Emmett, Chance Woodward, Sarah Wilding and husband Austin, Hannah Dalby, and Major Dalby.  Also many, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.   Mom was surrounded by loved ones, family, and friends as she passed peacefully, as her hand was held.  She was born in Port Arthur, Texas and raised in Port Neches, attending Port Neches-Groves High School, graduating in 1968.  She was voted Most Athletic in her class.  She also lived in Baytown, Mont Belvieu, and Hallettsville / Sweet Home, all in Texas. 

She was affectionally known to grands and many others as "Nana".  She loved to go shopping with her sister and friends.    She loved to be visited by family and friends, and show off their beautiful property and house, built by her husband, Bob, in Sweet Home.  She loved taking care of her grandkids, traveling the world, or just enjoying a glass of wine on the back porch with family, friends, and her sweet pups.

She chose to be cremated, and a Memorial Service will be held on April 18th at 2:00 at Old River Baptist Church near Mont Belvieu, Texas at 12948 FM 1409, Old River-Winfree, TX 77535.  Mom had a colorful spirit, and surely would appreciate and expect colorful, casual attire at the Service.
