Mary Mahan Obituary
Mary Martinez Mahan was born in Port Lavaca, Texas on August 19, 1946, to Juan and Antonia Martinez. She passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, surrounded by her immediate family.
Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose faith and love touched all who knew her. Mary is survived by her loving husband, the love of her life, Mr. Lupe “Wally” Mahan, of 54 and a half years, her sons Chris Mahan (Ingrid), James Mahan, and daughter, Anna Ortiz (Vicente JR). In addition to her children, Mary was blessed with 5 grandchildren: Jordan, Daydre, Ariana, Natalia, and Anali and 4 great grandchildren: Tayleigh, Matthew Joe, Mason, and Mia. Siblings: Richard Martinez and Olga Quintana as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary is proceeded in death by her parents, Juan and Antonia, as well as her brothers: Johnny, David, Roger, Lupe Albert and Joe Martinez.
Pallbearers: Vicente Ortiz, Jordan Mahan, Michael Martinez, Brandon Garcia, Jerry Mahan, and Porfirio “BB” Ramirez,
Honorary Pallbearers: Chris Mahan, James Mahan, Richard Martinez, Roach Martinez, Edwin Albert Martinez and Mike Buchanek.
Please join us in celebrating the life of Mary Mahan at Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home at 706 E. Crestwood Dr. Victoria, TX 77901. Rosary to be recited on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 5-8pm- Rosary at 6pm. Funeral will take place the following morning Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church beginning at 9am.
