Kelly Gene Rader Obituary
Kelly Gene Rader passed away on August 16th, 2026 at the age of 72.
Kelly was born in Robstown, TX but grew up in Goliad and attended Goliad High School. He lived and worked in Victoria for a number of years and moved back to Goliad 6 years ago.
Kelly will be remembered by those who knew him for the life he lived and the relationships he shared along the way. He enjoyed hunting, fixing things, spending time outdoors, and being with friends and family. Over the years, he made many memories with the people who were a part of his life, and those memories will remain with them.
He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy Rader and his father Ronald J. Rader. Kelly was the father to his son, Aaron Rader, and father-in-law to Bonnie Rader. He was a grandfather to Austin and Sutton Rader, who will carry a part of him forward.
He is also survived by his brothers and sister, Kendall Laughlin, Kerry Rader, Kirby Rader and Kim Rader along with their spouses and families, as well as other relatives and friends who knew and cared for him.
A memorial gathering celebrating his life will be held at a later date.
Though his life has ended, the memories, stories, and moments shared with Kelly will remain with the family and friends who knew him.
