Jessie Lee Whitehead, age 73, of Cuero, Texas was welcomed home June 29, 2026. He was born November 24, 1952, in Austin, Texas to Vernon Whitehead and Ann McCoy.
Jessie married Joy Butler on March 17, 1973, in Deer Park, Texas.
He worked as a Chemical Operator at Occidental Chemical and proudly served in the United States Army from 1973 to 1974. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved his kids dearly.
He is survived by loving wife, Joy Whitehead of Cuero, Texas; daughters, Jeannie Nicole “Nikki” Dobbs of Dayton, Texas, Janet Whitehead of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Jayla Whitehead of Cuero, Texas; sons, Jamie Whitehead of Cuero, Texas, and Johnny Whitehead of Cuero, Texas; sisters, Sarah Strange of Pasadena, Texas, Edna Saltsman of Pasadena, Texas, and Ernestine Teboe (Dennis) of Conroe, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
