Gilbert (Gilmond) Henley Obituary
Gilbert (Gilmond) Henley, of Victoria, Texas passed away April 7, 2025 at the age of 82. He was born January 9, 1943 in Refugio, Texas to the late James Henley and Inez Henley.
Gilbert married his love, Anita Judd on April 13, 1963 in Sublime, Texas. He loved to travel and spend time with his family. Gilbert worked as an Operator/Maintenance at DuPont for 40 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Gilbert was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and James Henley.
Leaving to cherish his memory is his wife of 62 years, Anita Henley of Victoria, Texas; daughter, Lisa Turner (John) of Victoria, Texas; sons, Glenn Henley (Katherine) of Victoria, Texas, Scott Henley (Charlene) of Victoria, Texas; brothers, David Henley of Beeville, Texas; Patrick Henley of Seadrift, Texas; grandchildren, Macey Taylor (Kody), Brandon Turner, Mary Katherine Henley, Paxton Henley, Andrew Henley, Rylan Henley; great-grandchildren, Tate and Kannon Taylor, Levi Garcia; step-grandchildren, Ryan and Jared Slaughter, and Calder Meis.
A private service will be held at a later date.
