Ernesto Licerio, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. He was born on May 22, 1945, to the late Lucio Licerio and the late Maria Licerio (Luna) in Victoria, Tx. He is survived by his daughter; Patricia Gomez (Jose) of Houston, Tx., sons; Ernesto Licerio Jr. (Rebecca) of Placedo, Tx, and Eloy Licerio (Connie) of Goliad, Tx and son in law, Paul Lopez Jr. of Placedo, Tx. He is also survived by thirty-two grandchildren, seventy-eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Beatrice Licerio, daughter; Ernestine Lopez, son; Edward Licerio, sisters; Juanita Trevino, Felecita Licerio Ysaguirre, Leonor Hernandez, and Angelita L. Garcia, Carolina L. Benavides, brothers; Pedro Licerio, Lucio Licerio, Cerilo L. Licerio, and Emilio Licerio.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, August 6, 2026, 5:00 PM-8:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM at Angel Lucy's Funeral Home Victoria, Tx. Visitation will resume on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 9:00 AM with a Mass to begin at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church Bloomington, Tx. Burial to follow at San Jose Cemetery in Bloomington, Tx
Serving as pallbearers; Michael Martinez, Joaquin Cabrera, Trey Licerio, Edward Licerio Jr., Carlos Licerio and Eric Licerio.
Honorary pallbearers; Emilio Licerio, Johnny Benavides, Charlie Otis, Adam Licerio, Jose Gomez, Rafeal Negron, Shawn Sanchez, Christopher Lopez, Juan Manuel Vasquez Jr., Juan Rubio, Truston Franklin and Robert Marks.
