Elizabeth Ann Angerstein Mozisek, 76, passed away 02/03/2026. She was born in Victoria on May 8,1949, to the late Arthur William and Sophie Regina Ernst Angerstein. Ann, as she preferred to be called, was a Catholic, a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, and Friends of the Library.
Upon graduating from Victoria High School in 1967, Ann then attended Victoria College (1967-1969) from which she earned an Associates of Arts degree. To further her education, she then attended Texas A&I University of Kingsville, Texas (1969-1971) from which she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education with a double major in English and social studies. Shortly after graduation, she obtained a teaching position with Victoria ISD and remained with the district for four decades (40 years). She began her teaching career at her old alma mater, Victoria High School, continued at that campus until consolidation, and then moved to Stroman High School campus. She also taught at Memorial high School and at Victoria East High School. Throughout her career in education, she touched the lives of thousands of individuals. To her students and colleagues, she became affectionately known as ‘Mrs. Mo’.
In 1972, Ann, AKA Mrs. Mo, met the love of her life, Allen Thomas Mozisek, and they married on July 7, 1973. Together they had one son, Jeffrey Allen Mozisek.
Ann is survived by; husband, Allen of 52 years; son, Jeffrey Allen Mozisek; granddaughters, Kayla Michelle Mozisek and Ashley Lauren Mozisek; and great grandson, Kayson Allen, who affectionately called her “MawMaw”, all of Victoria. Also surviving her are: sisters, Patricia Sue Angerstein Williams and husband Larry and Ruth Elaine Angerstein Nethery, all of Victoria. She also leaves behind a very loving and strong family of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Numerous nieces and nephews will also greatly miss her.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Ann devoted her life not only to education, but also to her family. She loved her family without question and enjoyed her time with them. She was an avid reader, enjoyed her patio plants and loved working on genealogy.
A private family burial will be decided at a later date.
