Carlton Perry, 75, was born on October 16, 1949 to the late Odis and Eddie Mae Perry in Goliad, Texas. He passed away with his family by his side on February 4, 2025.
He accepted Christ in his life at an early age, then later became a member of Palestine Baptist Church under Rev. G.O. Wyatt as pastor, where he was an active choir member until his health failed him. He enjoyed basketball, track, fishing, watching his grandkids play sports and watching the Dallas Cowboys play.
Carlton leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his homegoing, his lovely wife of 48 years, Deborah; two children, son, Kevin (Janese) Perry of Victoria, Texas; daughter, Donyale (Gerald) Tyrone of Victoria, Texas; six grandchildren, Dajohn Ramey of Kingsville, Texas, Kristopher (Destiney) Ramey of Austin, Texas, Tionna Tyrone of Victoria, Texas, Kevryn Perry of Victoria, Texas, Kaiden Perry of Victoria, Texas, Kiamani Perry of Victoria, Texas; great-grandchildren, Kaeson Palmer, Kiela Perry and Javeon Simpson; five sisters, Lilieve of Goliad, Texas, Audrey (David) of Goliad, Texas, Wanda of Victoria, Texas, Debra of Victoria, Texas, and Delores (Gordon) of Goliad, Texas; brothers, Edwin (Liza), Earnest (Ethel) and Roland; three sisters-in-law, Joyce of Victoria, Texas, Maureen (Carl) of Houston, Texas and Shirley of Victoria, Texas.
He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and church friends that continue to cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Odis and Eddie Mae; two sisters, Sandra and Nedra; mother and father-in-law, John and Evelyn Tyrone; and brother-in-law, Ronald.
A Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, February 15, 2025, 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM for visitation and a service at 1:00 PM at Palestine Baptist Church in Victoria, Texas.
