Brenda Gail Tollett Obituary

Brenda Gail Tollett, aged 83, of Victoria, Texas, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, in Victoria. She was born on January 17, 1942, in Roanoke, Virginia, to the late Charles Grahm Kerfoot and Josie Mae Poole.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grace Funeral Home, located at 2401 Houston Hwy, Victoria, Texas. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Coleto Baptist Church, situated at 102 Oak Colony Dr, Victoria, Texas, with burial to follow at Golden Sunset Cemetery.

Brenda was a devoted child of God and a faithful servant of Jesus. She cherished her family deeply and had a fondness for her dogs: Molly, Sugar, and Bit. She enjoyed her Sunday School classes and sharing the knowledge about God to children. Brenda admired Loretta Lynn, a mountain girl from Virginia with a compassionate heart, who nurtured many children. She welcomed many people into her home. Brenda married her best friend and the love of her life, Michael, on June 3, 1972, in Dillon, South Carolina, and they shared 53 wonderful years together. She was a dedicated housewife and Sunday School teacher.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Michael Eugene Tollett; her daughter, Terry Lyn Davis; her son, Eric Dewayne Tollett; her sisters, Judy Hodges and Joyce Hogue; and her grandchildren, Raven Villarreal, Colton Burkhart, Hunter Burkhart, Tanner Burkhart, Kael Edan Eugene Tollett, and Rhianna Tollett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Danny Eugene (Tollett) Harris; her brothers, Donald Kerfoot, Charlie Kerfoot, and Larry Kerfoot; and her sisters, Carol Place and Celeste DeVault.

Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of South Texas or the Lymphoma and Leukemia Foundation.

Order Funeral Flowers Now
It is always appropriate, and often times recommended, sending flowers or plants to the family after the funeral services are over. During this period, phone calls and words of comfort taper off. Then, the heartfelt pain of a death in the family is really experienced for the first time. The arrival of a beautiful bouquet or living plant can be so uplifting during this stage of grief and loneliness. Realizing that others still care and remember even weeks after the services can be great comfort to those in mourning.
