Anita Hernandez Morales Obituary
Anita Hernadez Morales went to her heavenly home June 2, 2025 at the age of 70. She was born August 10, 1954 in Goliad, Texas to the late Pancho Hernandez and Felicidad Segura.
Family and friends will gather for visitation Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 6:30 PM at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Hwy., in Victoria, Texas.
Anita married her love, Amador Morales, Jr. in 1991 in Victoria, Texas. They were members of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. She enjoyed making tamales and tortillas and was a tortilla maker for El Toro in Victoria for many years. Anita enjoyed siting outside with her friends and enjoyed family gatherings. She also enjoyed getting out of the house to ride the transit buses around town. Anita loved going to bingo. One of her favorite moments when she won, was calling her granddaughter, Mady. Anita said, “Mady, MoMo won bingo! And mady said, buy me a toy!” She will be deeply missed and live on in the hearts of those that knew and loved her.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Pancho Hernandez and Felicidad Segura; spouse, Amador Morales, Jr; daughter, Martha Ortiz; brothers, Martin and Frank Hernandez; sisters, Roseta Poncio and Victoria Perez.
Leaving to cherish Anita’s memory are her sons, Joe Flores (Melissa), Amador Morales (Deziree), Isaac Morales (Kristin De Los Santos); brothers, Juan, Joe and Robert Hernandez; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.
