Anita Ceballos Huerta, born on December 3, 1940, in Victoria, Texas, passed away on October 13, 2025, in Victoria, Texas.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosanna Huerta of Victoria, Texas; her son, Rene Huerta and wife Laverne of Port Lavaca, Texas; and her sisters, Frances Gallahar of Katy, Texas, Dora Linda Ramirez and husband Rudy of Pleasanton, Texas, and Elvira Flores and husband David of Victoria, Texas.
Anita is also survived by two beloved grandchildren, Christopher Canales and Thomas Canales.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Natividad Huerta; her parents, Olegario Ceballos and Felipe Estrada; her sister, Janie Ceballos; and her brother, Antonio Ceballos.
Pallbearers will be Jon David Dinkins, Alex Dinkins, John Pyle, Eric Huerta, Rudy Ramirez, and Jon David Dinkins Jr.
