Allan Lynn Hahn

Lynn Hahn, age 81, passed away on September 6, 2026. Services will be held at Salem Lutheran Church in Port Lavaca, Texas on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Visitation will be at 10:00am and the service at 11:00am.
Lynn was born in San Antonio and grew up in Port Lavaca Tx with his brother and three sisters. He was a 1963 graduate of Calhoun High School. He graduated from Del Mar College and joined the Navy. While in the Navy, Lynn worked as a welder on the USS Grasp during the Vietnam War. He married Cathy Ponas in 1969. He spent 31 years working at Alcoa and retired in 2000. He enjoyed helping others and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a lifelong member of Salem Lutheran Church where he enjoyed helping with maintenance and meeting with his men’s Emmaus group.
Lynn is preceded in death by his father, Alvin Alfred Hahn and mother Hanna Witte Hahn.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Ponas Hahn; daughter Gwen Graham and husband Trey Graham; son, Jay Hahn and wife Cheryl Hahn; granddaughter Hannah Morris and husband Kolby Morris: grandson, Hayden Hahn; brother Ralph Hahn and wife Judy Hahn; sister Edith Collins and husband Chuck Collins; sister Kathy Riske and husband Ronnie Riske; sister Christine Hahn and partner Joan Rust; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church, PO Box 1897 Port Lavaca Tx 77979.
