Albert G. Gloor, Jr. Obituary
Albert G. Gloor, Jr. passed away August 27, 2026 at the age of 76.
He was born July 20, 1950 in Goliad to Annie Geffert Gloor and Albert Gloor, Sr. He was baptized and confirmed as a Lutheran. Albert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was married to Martha Piper Loest Gloor. He worked for the City of Goliad.
He is survived by his wife, Martha; daughter, Reene Berry (Jarrett) of Seguin; son, Travis Gloor of Alabama; grandchildren, Lauren and Luke; brother, Garland Gloor (Sherry) and sister, Linda Lester (Kyle).
Albert was a loving and faithful husband to his wife of 12 years. He loved to hunt and fish and loved the outdoors. If he was on his tractor, he was happy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Grace Funeral Home, 214 N. Market St. in Goliad, Texas. Albert will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be David Wilks, Danny Wilks, Howard Pieper, James Hudson, Michael Loest, Brian Nedd, Brandon Ulbrich and Manuel Vela.
Memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
