ALFREDO LOPEZ Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Alfredo Avila Lopez, who left us on April 1st, 2025, at the age of 85 in Refugio, Texas. He succumbed his illness surrounded by his family. He will be remembered for his immense humor and love for music. He spent his life cherishing every moment with his loved ones. He entered into eternal rest after his parents, Alfredo Avila and Maria Del Jesus Lopez. His spirit is carried on by his loving daughters
Yadira (Victor) Adame, Griselda (Rickey) Gasaway, Elizabeth (Ruben) Longoria, Alejandra Avila Jones and their mother (former wife of 28 years) Maria Del Consuelo Varela De Avila. He is also survived by his sisters, Lilia Avila de Ballesteros, Teresa Avila Lopez, 2 Nephews, 4 nieces, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. We extend our deepest appreciation to Harbor Hospice of Victoria, Texas, for the love, support, and care they gave to our father and family in his last moments.
To honor his life, a Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. May 31st, 2025, at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church 1008 Alamo St, Refugio Tx. Burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
